As I mentioned earlier I work in a school in the area that works with students who are sometimes having trouble in their studies. Several years ago I worked with a student who was having a lot of trouble in his seventh grade math book. This student, Frank, had always had a hard time with math. No matter what he did, he always had trouble with math. Frank was a bright student and did not have trouble in other subjects. My boss gave me Frank to sort out. Having the tools I gained when doing the Student Hat I dug into Franks troubles. I spent hours with Frank finding out what exactly was stopping him. After digging and digging, we discovered that in the third grade, Frank had not understood a page of the material. We went into that page and found out what he did not understand about that page and cleared that up. I then had him restudy all the math he had done since that point, which he did in about a month. He then continued on with his regular math program and had no further trouble. On a more personal side, I have to relate what Scientology has done for me. When growing up I was shy and introverted. People are now amazed that I ever was that way. I can get up in front of groups and communicate my ideas. I can communicate my ideas in a simple and forthright manner. All aspects of communication have improved and I have Scientology and L.Ron Hubbard to thank for that. When I was 4 years old I decided that I wanted to work with Children. Due to peer pressure I gave up this goal in grade school. Getting in Scientology has helped me see what I want to do and has given me the tools to do that.
